In the period between the A and B bars, the master interrogates all 5 slaves. As you can see in the bar above the ruler, this takes approx. 14ms or about 2.8ms/slave

Hmm, 14ms with “only” 5 slaves. So we break the 10ms grid with more then 3 slaves :o
With the announced 8 possible slaves we get a 22,4ms for a full communication cycle then?

Yes, that is what I expect, so it doesn’t meet the specification.
